Olive oil has been widely used in skin care for ages and is even said to be the healthiest oil. Olive oil is not only used in skin care but also in delicious cooking. Here we will use this natural oil as a moisturizing agent.
You must be looking for a moisturizer that will keep your skin fresh and hydrated without making it oily. To get such results, you need to use olive oil. As olive oil is rich in antioxidants, it is also effective in preventing skin damage or roughness. So not only in winter but throughout the year, you can use olive oil as a skin moisturizer with confidence.
When using olive oil as a moisturizer, use extra virgin olive oil. This oil has no superficial agents, so it is very beneficial for dry skin and you don’t need to mix it with anything else. Massage your skin with this oil before or after bathing. Within a few days, you will see drastic changes in your skin. But use it regularly.
Chocolate
Isn’t that a little surprising? How can chocolate be a skin care ingredient? But it is a proven fact that chocolate can play a very good role in dry skin. Melting pure chocolate and applying it to the skin makes the skin brighter and softer.
Also, make a pack by mixing five tablespoons of cocoa powder, five tablespoons of honey, two teaspoons of corn flour, and two tablespoons of mashed potato together. Apply the pack on your face and wash your face with warm water after twenty minutes. This is a very good pack for dry skin.
Aloe Vera

For this, first, wash fresh leaves of aloe vera. Discard the hard outer layer and make a paste with the inner soft part. You can also use fresh aloe vera soothing gel if you want. Then mix this paste with coconut oil and keep it in a jar. But keep it away from sunlight.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil, like aloe vera, has been used for many purposes, especially in body care, for ages. The best part about coconut oil is that it is non-sticky and rich in vitamin E, which keeps the skin moisturized.
Apart from being used on hair, coconut oil also works well on dry skin. Coconut oil is very useful in removing acne from dry skin, hydrating the skin, and killing various types of bacteria. A pack made of coconut oil, water, honey, and lemon juice is very useful for dry skin.
Banana
As much as eating bananas is beneficial for the body, it is equally effective in maintaining the health of the skin. Banana is a natural ingredient that moisturizes the skin. Bananas contain vitamin C, vitamin A, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, and carbohydrates. All these ingredients are extremely effective in curing dry skin problems. So eat two bananas regularly. Also, mix coconut oil with banana paste and apply it to the skin. Wash off with water when slightly dry. It will help a lot in curing dry skin problems.
Sour Curd
Rough and dry skin often causes problems like itching. In this case, soak a soft cloth or cotton in cold sour curd and apply it to the skin for five minutes. This will remove the irritation or itching of the skin. You can also mix sour curd with honey before bathing and apply it all over the body. Take a bath when dry.
Mix two tablespoons of curd with honey and apply it on your face. Wash off after a few hours. By using this pack, the dryness of the skin will be reduced and it will become soft and supple. Also, the dryness will decrease and the brightness of the skin will increase.
Almond Oil
Almond oil is rich in Vitamin E and it brightens your skin and makes it smooth. Such oil is very beneficial for dry skin. This oil is very thin, so the skin absorbs this oil very easily. And due to non-stickiness, using this oil gives a comfortable feeling.
To get the full benefits of this oil, make a pack by mixing a few drops of almond oil and honey with aloe vera gel. Apply it on the face, wait for 15-20 minutes, and wash it off with warm water. Also, for dry skin care, you can massage this oil on your skin two to three days a week. As a result, your skin will always be soft and moisturized.
Coffee
Just as a cup of coffee works like magic to refresh our mood, applying coffee on the skin also helps the skin regain its freshness. Antioxidants in coffee ensure good skin health. So apply coffee paste on the skin to treat dry skin.
For this, mix a spoon of coffee powder with honey and rose water. Mix the ingredients well and apply them on the skin. Regular use of this face pack can prevent dry skin problems.
Oatmeal
Oatmeal has been used in skin care for many years. For dry skin care, use instant oatmeal to get the best benefits. First, grind the oatmeal in a blender.
