HOW TO TAKE CARE OF SKIN AFTER AGE 30! KNOW THE FULL GUIDELINE

After the age of 30, the hormone levels in the body start to decrease. At the same time, the production of collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid, vitamins, and other substances that keep the skin tissue healthy also decreases. As collagen production decreases, the cell structure weakens. The skin becomes thin and wrinkled. In short, the signs of aging begin to appear. Therefore, to keep the skin youthful, preparations must be made in advance.

Check it out! After 30, many changes come into our lives. Responsibilities increase with time. Stress also increases. During this time, the hormone levels in the body start to change. Along with this, problems like fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles, and dryness increase. Today, I will tell you how to keep the skin youthful.

Many people are actually a little confused about how to start skincare at this age and how to get back the previous glowing skin. Let them know that no product can give you smooth and flawless skin overnight. A basic skincare routine should be maintained regularly to get healthy skin. Day and night skincare routines will be different.

Morning Skin Care Routine

The first step of skin protection starts at the beginning of the day. So, that’s how skincare stations should be divided. Daytime skincare should include:

Cleansing:

Regular cleansing is the first step to keeping the skin healthy, and this cleansing should be done in the morning and at night. According to skin type, you should choose a face wash that contains various vitamins, such as vitamin A, B2, B12, and vitamin E.

Toning:

Toner is a very important ingredient in skincare. Toning is essential to tighten pores, remove impurities, and rebalance the skin. Toners also help to rebalance the skin’s pH level. Toner should be used after cleansing. Using a toner once a day is enough.

Serum or Ampoule:

Serums are basically highly concentrated, powerful ingredients in a very light or thin formula. As the serum can reach the inner layer of our skin, several problems are solved quickly, such as spots and pigmentation problems, sun tan problems, acne scars, uneven skin tone, and wrinkles. In short, serum is a very effective anti-aging ingredient. If desired, the serum can be used twice a day. But if the serum is not used once during the day, then the serum must be used at night before sleeping.

Ampoule is another treatment similar to serum. You can use either serum or ampoule as an alternative if you want.

Moisturizing:

Ceramides are one of the most important ingredients in moisturizers. These are naturally occurring waxy lipids that retain moisture in the skin. Look for these ingredients when choosing a moisturizer for your skin. Oil production in many people’s skin decreases with age. Then the skin starts to dry slowly. There is nothing to worry about; regular use of moisturizer will reduce skin dryness.

Sunscreen:

Due to the harmful rays of the sun, our skin’s collagen production decreases day by day. As a result, the skin shows signs of age at an early age. Besides, problems like rash, redness, skin irritation, variation in skin tone, and melasma also occur. Sunscreen should be used as skin protection to solve such problems. If you go out, you must use sunscreen; at home, it is necessary to use sunscreen to protect yourself from the harmful rays of the sun.

Night Skin Care Routine

This is the morning skincare routine; now, know the nighttime skincare routine. During the day, we try to keep the skin protected from sun and pollution. Now the main purpose of skincare at night is to repair skin damage and provide nourishment to the skin. The skincare you follow throughout the day should also be done at night. But you don’t have to use only sunscreen at night.

Double Cleansing is a Must:

Start your nighttime skincare routine with double cleansing. Many people use makeup wipes for this double cleansing. Makeup wipes can be used as a quick-fix solution, but they don’t clean the skin properly. Proper cleansing requires double cleansing. For the first step in double cleansing, you’ll need an oil-based cleanser or micellar water. Next, clean the face with any foam cleanser or gel-based cleanser. Then, apply a hydrating toner on the skin.

Include Retinol in Your Anti-Aging Skincare Routine:

Retinol improves skin texture by increasing collagen and elastin production in the skin. So after 30 years, you can include this active ingredient in your skincare routine. Retinol can be started from the age of 22/25 years. The maximum percentage of retinol in skincare is 1%. If you can start using retinol at a 0.01% percentage to prevent aging signs, then it is perfectly safe for you. 0.01 to 0.03% is called lower-strength retinol. Then you can gradually move to a slightly higher concentration. At advanced levels, 0.3 to 1% retinol can be used.

Use very little retinol. You can use it 1/2 days weekly. In the case of retinol use, we can follow the sandwich method: moisturizer first, then retinol, then moisturizer again. Applying retinol during this process reduces the chances of skin irritation. But avoid mixing retinol with other exfoliating agents (AHA, BHA).

Eye Cream:

The most sensitive area of the face is around the eyes. Just look around the eyes to understand that age is increasing. Although many things are used in skincare, no one thinks about eye care separately. The skin of the eyes is 10 times thinner than the skin of the face. After the age of thirty, its symptoms are first observed through the eyes. Eye fine lines, wrinkles, puffiness, dark circles, etc., appear very quickly if the skin is not taken care of properly. So, it is important to use eye cream to care for the skin around the eyes.

Eye creams contain almost all the same ingredients as moisturizers but contain fewer chemicals than moisturizers. When using eye cream, take some time and slowly massage the cream around the eyes. It will tighten facial muscles and increase collagen production. Also, fine lines, wrinkles, and dark circles will be reduced, and the eyes will become attractive.

Night Moisturizer or Sleeping Mask:

Night creams are very effective in maintaining the glow of the skin. The night cream renews skin cells along with moisturizing and helps reduce skin wrinkles. So, use night cream before sleeping at night. You can also use a sleeping mask 2/3 days a week for extra care.

The night cream is a gentle formula that can be used regularly and has a relatively low concentration of active ingredients. On the other hand, the sleeping mask works as a powerful weekly treatment, as it uses high concentrations of active ingredients.

After cleansing and toning, this mask should be applied to the face before sleeping instead of night cream. The mask works on the skin all night. Get up in the morning and wash off the mask. A sleeping mask can be used 1/2 times a week at night. The sleeping mask acts as an anti-aging agent, fades spots, and repairs the damaged skin barrier.

Weekly Skin Care

Day and night skincare has a regular routine that needs to be followed. Besides, there are some weekly skincare routines that are beneficial for the skin even if followed regularly. Among them, two important things are masks and scrubs.

Mask:

A good idea is to use a lightweight mask once or twice a week. It maintains the softness of the skin. Depending on your skin type, choose any of the clay masks, gel masks, and sheet masks according to your preference. These masks are very effective in retaining radiance after 30 years.

Scrub:

Scrubbing is a process that removes dead skin cells and keeps the skin alive. Scrubbing 2/3 times a week is enough. If the presence of dead cells on the skin is less, then a mild scrub should be used. If the skin has pimples or rashes, then scrubbing should not be done. In this case, too, the skin type should be understood first, then the scrubbing method should be chosen.

Age Spots and Precautions

Don’t neglect the age spots. Be careful when age spots appear. Because age spots can be a symptom of skin cancer. See a dermatologist for any skin changes. Non-cancerous spots can usually be lightened with skin bleaching products.

Tips:

If you want to keep your skin healthy, you must follow a healthy lifestyle along with skincare! Reduce excess sugar and carb intake in your diet. Keep fresh salad, fruit, yogurt, and nuts in the diet chart. Detox drinks are also very effective in keeping the skin looking youthful. You can also do free-hand exercises and yoga for weight control.

Regular skincare is essential for all ages. But after the age of 30, the skin needs extra care. And for this, you have to be aware of yourself first. Skin type should be taken care of day and night separately. Don’t sit around thinking that 30 is too late. Rather, start skincare; you will realize the benefits yourself, even if it is late.

Today, I have tried to give a basic idea of what a skincare routine should look like after the age of 30. So, you can now set your own skincare routine according to your skin needs and problems.
